St George's Hospital

South Thames College has been working with St George's Hospital for a number of years providing high quality relevant training to meet the specific learning needs of a range of staff. The college provides work based learning for staff in a number of NVQ subject areas including Cleaning and Support Services, Customer Service, ESOL and Basic Skills. As a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVe) for Health & Social Care, South Thames College works closely with St George's to train its Healthcare Assistants, and is currently delivering NVQ training at Level 2 on-site at the hospital to 55 staff members. Commenting on the partnership with South Thames College, Florence Temeng, HCA Development Coordinator at St Georges Hospital said “South Thames College offers us invaluable training provision. Feedback from the Health Care Assistants currently receiving NVQ training from South Thames College has been extremely positive and we're looking forward to the next group beginning their training.”

We also have an excellent suite of meeting rooms available for hire at Carlton House, Putney. They have recently been refurbished creating a bright, modern space that is ideal for conferences and seminars, as well as training and development sessions. Our facilities include a range of rooms to accommodate 2 to 50+ people. We also offer a meet and greet area, waiting room and breakout space. Carlton House is in an excellent location and easily reached by car, bus or train, from Putney mainline station and East Putney underground.
