Foundation Degree Graphic & Multimedia Design student Akin Davies was awarded second place in a national competition run by Linking London.
Linking London is part of a nationwide initiative to improve progression for vocational learners into and through Higher Education. The competition involved students from more than 30 universities and colleges designing a poster to communicate how Linking London had supported them.
The winners were chosen at the London Linking annual conference at the University of London. More than 100 delegates attended and were asked to vote for the poster they thought was most successful.
Greg Haynes, the College's Graphics and Multimedia lecturer, said: 'Akin did really well with his design. He developed the concept based on the Linking London logo and strapline used on their website. The idea was to be highly visual and not to over complicate the design with text. I think he followed the brief well.'
