Richmond Adult Community College (RACC) - Business and IT
RACC was the first provider in the country to be awarded status as a Centre of Vocational Excellence for Business and IT.
The Richmond Business School, run by the college, provides training in a variety of business and IT related areas, including business management, finance and accounting, high level IT, modern languages and skills for business start ups. It has specialised in working with employers in the local area, and small businesses in particular, helping to improve their employees’ key IT skills and business understanding.
The Business School is based in a brand new building next to RACC, that houses a library, a dedicated language learning centre and rooms for private study, meetings and seminars. The whole school is equipped with state of the art technology. Facilities include a dedicated room for building and testing computer networks.
The Business School is also home to the RACC’s Business Development Unit, which has been providing local businesses and individuals with specifically tailored courses and training since 1994. In addition, advisors from Business Link for London are based at the centre and Kingston University is running a New Technology Institute room within the centre.
