London Colleges

Advice and guidance

stuplan_stuat_advice_large Studying should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience, whatever your level and whichever subject you choose.

However, factors either inside or outside your college or class could lead to stress. These could include:

  • Financial and work-related issues
  • Health and family concerns
  • Examination worries
  • Meeting new people
  • Problems with housing or benefits

All of the colleges have members of staff available – sometimes called a welfare officer or a student counsellor – who you can talk to confidentially if you require advice or counselling.

Don’t be afraid to seek advice as soon as you need it. Remember, your well-being is extremely important: they are there for you no matter what your problem is.
