Implants / Soft Tubes

These are Soft tubes that are implanted into the skin of the inner upper arm OF THE FEMALE, which steadily release the hormone Progestogen into the bloodstream, preventing sperm and egg meeting. Blokes - do not try this method! For one, no sane doctor will give you implants, and two, if ever you had them; you probably start growing breasts (and no - that doesn't sound fun!).

Advantages - doesn't interfere with sex and can last for five years. After it has been taken out, normal fertility level returns.

Disadvantages - irregular periods and may have side effects including headaches, nausea, acne or slight weight gain.
