United Colleges Group recently welcomed BBC Radio 4 to the College of North West London. Presenter and economist Paul Johnson, who has made a series of programmes on apprenticeships for Radio 4’s PM news programme, spoke to four of our students and Principal James Wilson as part of the visit.
James spoke with Paul about the importance of United Colleges Group’s relationship with our valued employers, and our students discussed their experience of working in industry alongside their studies at college, and their ambitions for the world of work after completing their apprenticeships.
Listen back to their interview from around 47 mins and 30 seconds into Wednesday 16th September’s PM programme: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0031kqt?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin
