It’s the seventh annual Greater London Authority (GLA) – led London Voter Registration Week (LVRW) 2025, taking place now (15 to 21 September 2025), and we are eager to have colleges join this crucial effort to promote civic and democratic engagement across London.
Research shows that the younger students engage with their civic and democratic rights, the more likely they are to continue their engagement as adults. Together, we can support the future of young Londoners

- Free Political Literacy workshops, assemblies or stalls for your students.
Shout Out UK are running free workshops, assemblies or stalls for educational institutions. Email to book now. There are still some slots available for the annual GLA London Voter Registration Week 2025 (15 – 21 September), but also now and beyond. - Free Political Literacy resources and lesson plans for KS4 and KS5.
- This includes tutor time/ assembly activities, as well as 3 options for stand-alone lessons. These resources come with a support pack including lesson plans, user guides, and differentiated resources suitable for SEN and EAL learners.
Coming soon:
- Student Voter Registration Drive Toolkit: This toolkit will be designed to empower young people to lead their own voter registration drives in schools and colleges. It will include a clear checklist of dos and don’ts for running impartial drives, a voter eligibility flow chart, political literacy resources, a skills-building certificate, and pledge templates to encourage the sharing of information. These resources will be available from September 2025, so stay tuned!
